For Coffee Break Survivors, made by Ren Trolldom AS (org. no. 938 399 905), Arnstein Arnebergs vei 16, 0274 Oslo, Norway. Last updated 30 October 2026.
The short version
We don't ask who you are. There are no accounts, no ads, no tracking and no analytics. To rank your runs among other players, the game sends the results of your runs to our server under a made-up name. You can turn this off and delete it all in the game's settings.
What the game sends
The first time a run ends, the game makes you an anonymous player on our server: a random id, a generated name (like "Decaf Intern 4821") and a recovery code. After each run it sends:
- the result: the hero, whether you won, your time, the stage you reached, your kills and level, the map, and where you were standing at the end
- the day of the daily run, the game's version and the platform (web, Windows, iOS and so on)
Nothing else: no name, email, contacts, location, advertising id or device id. Your internet address is seen by the server for each request, as with any website, and is used only to slow down repeated guesses at recovery codes. It is held in memory for a minute and never stored.
Why
Only to show your place among other players and on the daily leaderboard, which shows your generated name. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing this feature, which you can switch off at any time.
Where it is kept, and for how long
On Cloudflare's servers, which run our game server. It is kept until you delete it. We don't sell or share it with anyone.
Your choices
In the game's settings, Leave and delete my data deletes your player and every run from our server for good, and the game stops sending. You can also write to us to see or delete your data, and you may complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian data protection authority.
Children
The game collects nothing that identifies anyone, child or adult.
